Designer, developer, djangonaut, geek: I’m one of those weird hybrid developers. I'm a core contributor to the Django web framework, and I build delightful things for the web. I love everything at the intersection of engineering and design, like data visualization. The most interesting challenge we face in this age of infosaturation is extracting meaning from the firehose of data—I really like building things that address this in some way.
I’m a full-stack kind of guy. “Jack of all trades… and master of none” is a good way to sum me up. I’m not the most hardcore developer, nor the sharpest designer, but the fact that I speak both disciplines gives me a lot of insight into how product issues should be tackled, and helps me bridge between users, engineering, and designers. TL;DR: I help you make better products.
